Charles Prideaux is a highly accomplished veteran producer and technical producer specializing in high-end live special event production.

 

Starting at “Romper Room” in 1979, he earned his chops on numerous productions including Howard Stern and Martha Stewart, then worked on seven Olympic Games, FIFA World Cups, and three IPWH White House shows and the Democratic National Convention for PBS.

 

Prideaux has made his name as the Executive Producer and Technical Producer of Times Square New Year’s Eve, which he has helmed for 24 years, including the epic 24-hour NYC Millennium Show of 2000.

 

His other notable credits include producing two Guinness World records working with General Motors producing the Guinness World record “Kick Flip” and “Barrel Roll” segment’s for the highly successful Chevy Sonic Super Bowl commercials.

 

Prideaux co-executive produced the Ryder Cup opening and closing ceremonies in 2004 and 2008. 

 

In 2004 & 2005 he received two Telly Awards for Industrial Grand Openings reveals for Coke & Pontiac.

 

Recently, he worked on several Apple HQ Productions, including the Grand Opening with Lady Gaga in Cupertino.

 

Prideaux lives in Castle Rock, Colorado.
